Member Assistance Program (MAP)
MAP assists members to improve their delivery of services to clients, and overall quality of life, by addressing issues such as stress, depression, marriage or family concerns, and other psychological challenges associated with the practice of law. In addition, should a member require assistance to address alcohol, substance abuse, or addiction issues, MAP will help locate the appropriate services and resources. This confidential assistance may include referrals to trained volunteer committee members as well as referrals to health care professionals who have agreed to accept referrals from the program.
A director, staff and trained volunteer committee members provide assistance. A no-charge confidential crisis line is available 24 hours a day.
